On your arrival at Kochi airport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. After check in and short relaxation, drive to the Athirappally waterfalls and take your time to get refreshed. After breakfast, full day sightseeing at Munnar – the famous Eco Point in Munnar. Tea plantations walk, visit to Tea Factory, Jeep ride to Kolukkumalai tea plantations, tribal village visit etc. Overnight at your hotel in Munnar.
Enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar as you have an exotic drive today through the pepper, cardamom and tea plantations all the way to Thekkady, to the highest city in Kerala. On the way, you may visit the famous Anayirangal Dam along with an interesting boat ride. After arrival and check in at your hotel, relax and then go for the Kathakali show offered in city. Today after breakfast, make a spices garden visit. Then enjoy the very interesting elephant ride and bath. You may then go for a boating through the Periyar National Park around noon. It is also interesting to make a city walk in the afternoon and make some shopping. In the evening, visit the Kalarippayattu show offered in the city. After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom , a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. Enroute, visit the famous religious attractions like Bharananganam church, Thirunakkara temple, Pattumala church, etc. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Go for a village walk with an auto rickshaw and enjoy the village of Kumarakom. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Kumarakom.
After breakfast set out for sightseeing in and around Kumarakom – a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. Choose a canoe, motor boat or a houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. If interested, go also for fishing, visit to coir factory, traditional Kettuvalloms (rice barges) etc set amidst coconut groves and panoramic view of the backwaters. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay in Kumarakom.
